By 1995, AirTouch employed almost 10,000 people in Ohio, Michigan and Georgia. My staff and I were responsible for writing, designing and producing the company’s employee newsletter, “The Eastern Erlang.” For those of you outside the wireless telephony industry, an “erlang” is a measure of a radio signal’s strength.
